The offer

Little Berlin is an independent cultural centre, the only one in Trnava and the broader region. It is located in the historical core of the town, on the first floor of the reconstructed burgher´s house. The cultural centre Little Berlin is a project of the civic association Publikum.sk which has been active in Trnava since 2006. After five years of renovating the burgher´s house in the historic centre of the town, the cultural centre was opened in early March 2018. 300 to 350 events for all ages are organized in its two halls every year. The programme includes mostly theatre performances, concerts and literature but there are also various educational activities, discussions, conferences and multi-genre projects. Why is this cultural centre called Little Berlin? It is well known that Trnava is called Little Rome. It speaks about the history and a little bit about the present of the town´s. On the other hand, Little Berlin is supposed to refer to the future, which should bring the development of cultural and creative industries for Trnava, while at present the city of Berlin is considered the centre of independent culture in Europe. Conference rooms and services 2 The Main Hall with an area of 130 m and the Small Hall with an area 2 of 70 m offer flexible seating options, while the last rows of chairs in the Main Hall are raised for comfort. The technical equipment of the Main Hall includes a wall mounted projector screen, a projector, a sound system, a PA system for concerts and lighting system. The Small Hall provides the possibility of projection and sound system, and thanks to the food counters and cloakroom, it can serve as a background for events in the Main Hall. The cultural centre can provide services of internal technicians, sound engineers and PR support for external events (upon agreement, primary promotion activities in Trnava location and region, issuing press releases, promotion via social networks, media partnerships).
