The experience
At the edge of the Little Carpathians, Smolenice rewards a slower look. The guided walk connects the prehistoric settlement at Molpír, the story of Smolenice Castle and the legacy of inventor Štefan Banič. Village streets and a gentle outdoor walk become a journey through very different periods of local history. The castle is part of the landscape and its story; visiting its interior afterwards is a separate possibility, subject to opening and arrangements.
Make it part of your programme
Build a regional half-day around the walk, with a separately arranged stop at Včelco or more time in nature. Match the outdoor pace to your group and allow for weather and transport from Trnava.
